The Japanese based tuner Wald International has released a new full aerodynamic kit along with large 20 inch alloy wheels for the Mercedes-Benz SL 63AMG, which makes the vehicle look like it’s about to eat your children.
If the “baby Panda tears coming out of the exhaust system” is being used a lot when talking about hybrids or EVs, to describe the Mercedes R230 Black Bison Edition made by Wald International we’d have to say that it looks like real baby Pandas are being pushed through its tailpipes and transformed into hamburgers on the way.
The Japanese aftermarket specialists at Wald International have fitted the Mercedes R230 SL with a new front bumper fascia, front sports fenders, rear bumper fascia, side skirts, quarter panel wheel arch extensions, trunk spoiler and a DTM sports muffler with twin exhaust pipes, while the wheels have been “converted” into Renovatio R12 in sizes 9j x 20 inch for the front and 11j x 20 inch at the rear.
The aerodynamic kit would have probably been a success if the Japanese tuner had played with the SL’s engine too and it’s actually quite a pity when a car looks this good but drives just like the standard one, or even worse, considering the larger wheels and new aerodynamic kit.
The Mercedes-Benz R230 Black Bison edition made by Wald International will be officially presented at the SEMA show in November.
