[PHOTO GALLERY] Morgan Plus 8 and Morgan Aero Coupe unveiled

The British based automaker Morgan has recently revealed the new Plus 8 model, along with the Aero Coupe.

According to the car manufacturer, the Morgan Plus 8 is actually a new two-seater, which is powered by a 4.8 liter V8 engine, developing a total output of 367 horsepower, but this figure can go up to 390 if the customers will chose the sports exhaust system. Morgan says that the 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) acceleration takes just 4.5 seconds in the new Plus 8 model, and the vehicle is weighing 1.100 kg. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, which will come in handy for long cruises, and the model will make its official debut next month, at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

Last but not least, the British automaker has also revealed the Morgan Aero Coupe too, which is one of the most interesting cars we’ve seen in a long time, with an appealing body and long fluid lines. Morgan says that the Aero Coupe’s body is based on the GT3 Aero race car and power is provided by the 4.8 liter V8 engine, which was previously found on the BMW 650i. The unit is developing a total output of 390 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque, and the 0 to 62 mph acceleration takes 4.5 seconds with the automatic transmission and 4.2 seconds with the manual. The Morgan Aero Coupe will also make its debut in Geneva, next month.
