[PHOTO GALLERY] New BMW 3-Series caught while filming commercial in San Francisco

The German based automaker BMW has been caught by curious cameras while filming a commercial for the new 3-Series in San Francisco.

According to the bimmerpost.com, whom we should also thank for the images below, the new BMW 3-Series has been spotted in San Francisco while the carmaker was preparing a commercial for the model. As a reminder, the new generation of the BMW 3-Series was officially presented in November and the model made a huge splash among the company’s fans and not only. The new BMW 3-Series will also be available in the United States, where the entry-level version has been priced at 35.795 USD.

BMW says that the new 328i will ome nicely equipped with iPod / USB / Bluetooth connectivity and a 6.5 inch iDrive display, while being powered by the 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine which is developing a total output of 240 horsepower and has a peak torque of 260 lb-ft (352 Nm), mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with start/stop technology, enabling the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds before hitting its limited top speed of 130 mph or 155 mph with the Sport Line Package.

On the other hand, the larger unit fitted onto the 335i model comes in the shape of a 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder engine which is developing a total output of 300 horsepower and has a peak torque of 300 lb-ft (406 Nm), which is allowing the BMW 3-Series to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and hit the same limited top speed of 130 mph, or 155 mph with the Sport Line Package.
