[PHOTO GALLERY] Top Gear is testing the Pagani Huayra

Top Gear has recently tested the impressive Pagani Huayra and the Italian supercar has also received a photo shoot on the test track.

The newest season of Top Gear UK has been set to air in February 2013 but the guys are working hard on the new episodes and the latest supercar tested by the three presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May is the impressive Pagani Huayra. Our guess is that Hammond went behind the wheel of the supercar because he loved the Zonda and its replacement probably made him sleep on the track once again. You can check out a small part of the photo gallery with the Pagani Huayra below, but for the rest head over to Flickr.

As a quick reminder, The Pagani Huayra is powered by a Mercedes-Benz AMG V12 engine with dual turbochargers, which is producing a total output of 700 HP, with a peak torque of 1,000 Nm (740 lb-ft). The Italian supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 370 km/h (230 mph). The Pagani Huayra is capable of withstanding 1.5G of lateral acceleration and its engine is mated to a seven-speed sequential transmission. The supercar is priced at 1,150,000 USD and it has been in production since 2011.
