The UK Top Gear crew, with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have been caught by curious cameras while filming their new season, number 18, in Beijing, China.
According to chinacartimes.com, the three UK Top Gear presenters are in Beijing, China, this week where they are filming a Top Gear short special on Chinese cars. After Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May were filmed while being on the road in Rome, Italy, not more than a month ago, the three Top Gear presenters are now in China, where they are filming a Top Gear short special on local cars, probably comparing them to European, Japanese or American ones.
Sadly we don’t know any more details about what the Top Gear crew is doing in China, but we will definitely find out once the popular TV show will be back in January, 2012. As a reminder, the new Christmas Special is scheduled to go on air on December 25, and its location is no longer a surprise, after Jeremy Clarkson blew it in an interview with witneytv.co.uk, announcing that it was filmed in India. We’re hoping that they’ve finally tested the Tata Nano, but we will have to wait until then to find out. You can see the list of what cars Top Gear tested in China right after the jump. Enjoy!
