The new “luxury sedan concept” from Pininfarina has already showed its rear end in the first teaser so the Italian design house is back with a fresh render of the front end design.
It has slim, angled LED headlights and a massive radiator grille with a honeycomb mesh and chrome vertical slats shaped like a boomerang – as well as thin vertical strips of LEDs mounted on the lower section of the front bumper to act not as fog lamps, but as daytime running lights. The concept has been commissioned by the Hybrid Kinetic Group from Hong Kong – which is why it features that large logo – and because we’re dealing with a concept also visible are the side cameras used instead of conventional mirrors.
More so, Pininfarina is also teasing us to the interior design – featuring an all-digital instrument cluster and a large touchscreen for the infotainment system. There’s also leather and wood trim as well as a flat-bottomed steering wheel with a two-spoke design and Pininfarina’s name. no technical details have been revealed yet apart from the fact that “eco-friendly technology” with “new energy propulsion” will be involved. Considering the massive grille we’re thinking about plug in hybrid credentials rather than all-electric battery oomph.
