Pininfarina may produce limited Sergio cars image

The famous Italian car design company Pininfarina is planning to put the Sergio Concept into limited production but this will be one expensive ride to own.

After it was officially presented to the public a couple of weeks ago, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Pininfarina Sergio Concept is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with its creators planning to put the model into limited production. The announcement has been made by the company’s CEO, Silvio Angori, who said that they are considering producing 5 or 6 units of the Pininfarina Sergio.

If you were one of the ones admiring it in Geneva and this news has gotten you all excited, you’d better hold your wallet because what you’re about to hear may probably shock you. The cost of one Pininfarina Sergio car will stand around 3 million euros, which is similar to the Lamborghini Veneno, unveiled during the same automotive event. The Sergio Pininfarina Concept is based on the Ferrari 458 Spider and it’s coming with a 4.5 liter V8 engine, producing 562 HP and 400 lb-ft of torque. The Sergio is lighter than the standard 458 Italia and this is translated into a 0 to 62 mph acceleration of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph.
