While the Giulia QV is the current reigning champion for the Nurburgring record in the sedan segment, for some of the lucky early adopters even this isn’t enough.
Luckily, with a beating heart that has Maserati and above all else Ferrari pedigree, the Giulia is an easy pick for tuning masters. This is how the BMW M3 rival got to enter the Pogea Racing hangars for a little work and detailing. For now considered a “project car”, this particular example of the four-door sedan has been taken to 604 horsepower and 553 pound-feet (750 Nm) of torque. You can have this or the 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4Matic+ because they have the exact same power credentials.
Apparently the German aftermarket specialist is actually looking for more, as teased by their hashtag: #700psssoon – which is about 700 PS or 690 hp. Which is absolutely bonkers considering the base of the mod is a 2.9L twin-turbo V6. For now though, the official Pogea Racing tune for the Giulia QV is capped at 577 PS (569 hp) and 705 Nm (520 lb-ft) of torque. Any way you look at it, this midsize sedan is making executive sedans blush… on the street and on the track.
