Known Russian tuner TopCar has recently announced another feat pertaining to their Porsche tuning section (they also dress up Mercedes, BMW and Range Rover models) – a carbon-infused wide body kit for the 911 Carrera 4S.
The aftermarket pack has the name “Stinger” and tuning fans will recognize it immediately as the aftermarket specialist has also used it in the past – this one is an update and follow-up to other such kits bearing the same moniker that have been proposed by the Russian company recently. What we have here is a wider 911 that has a modified front bumper complete with aerodynamic splitter. The job goes on to propose front fender extensions, as well as new side skirts and more a muscular looking rear fender. This is a pre-facelift Carrera 4S that has also gained a new hood, a new rear diffuser with a lacquered carbon finish to compliment the Agate Gray body paint. We’re not really sure of the blinged-out gold finished ADV.1 Wheels, as the rest of the tuning pack has been quite restrained and elegant – with subtle use of the carbon fiber bits and pieces.
The visual detailing has also been completed by the repurposing of the model’s soul – the naturally-aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine now has to show for 500 horsepower. The power increase has not been priced yet, but TopCar is looking to have you shell out $12,481 (€11,424) if you want the carbon fiber body kit.
