The German based automaker Porsche is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special edition, which should make its way onto the UK dealerships in September.
According to the car manufacturer, the Porsche 911 in question will get a wider body kit, which is usually reserved for the Carrera 4, a sports exhaust system, an upgraded PASM suspension system, dynamic cornering lights, 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, special badges, bespoke chrome trim, two color choices, different side mirrors and some other tweaks. The changes in the cabin pay homage to the original 911, and they include the green finish for the dials, white pointer needles, seat fabric inspired from the 1960s tartan design and more.
The standard equipment on the Porsche 911 50th Anniversary model will also include the 14-way electrically adjustable seats, the climate control, the 4.6-inch color satellite navigation system and media system, the bi-xenon lights or the limited-slip differential with torque vectoring. The 911 50 Years Edition, as it is actually being known, can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 186 mph, with the seven-speed manual transmission. In the dual-clutch PDK version, the 0 to 62 mph sprint takes 4.3 seconds and top speed stands at 185 mph. Prices for the model start at 92,257 GBP.
