The aftermarket specialists at Wimmer RS have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Muscle Play, which has been designed as the ultimate 911 model.
According to the tuning company, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Muscle Play is getting optimized turbochargers, a high-flow fuel pump, new induction system, upgraded timing chains, sports camshafts, new crankshaft, new manifolds, improved pistons, machined cylinder heads and connecting rods, amongst others.
“WIMMER Racing Technology is well known for making the impossible possible. The professionals around Thorsten Wimmer from Solingen have nothing left out to give the definitely not underpowered supercar significantly more propulsion than “just” the series power”, as the company is saying in its official press release.
Thanks to the modifications mentioned above, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Muscle Play’s 3.6 liter engine is now producing a total output of 1,020 horsepower (750 kW) and it has a peak torque of 1,108 Nm (817 lb-ft), which is allowing the sports car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.7 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 389 km/h (242 mph). The model will be offered in a limited 500 units edition.
