After it was unveiled just a few days before writing this article, the 2013 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is ending up in our news once again, this time with the German based automaker talking about its price. The track-aimed supercar will be available over-seas from 234,056 USD and the model is coming with carbon fiber canards, with a new front bumper, an evolutionary design rear wing, a front splitter, a center mounted dual exhaust system and a fresh set of racing wheels.
The cabin of the 2013 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is getting a flat bottom steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, a new racing seat, an improved roll cage and a “rescue hatch”. The motorsport version of the popular 911 GT3 is powered by a 3.8 liter flat six-cylinder engine, which is now producing a total output of 460 HP (338 kW), 10 HP more than its predecessor. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters. The model will debut at the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup next year.
