Porsche has announced new details on the impressive 911 GT3 RS, whose road has paved by the 911 GT3.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is believed to be making its way onto the market by the end of this year and the model in question will be lighter, it will be getting electric steering, a more powerful engine, new aerodynamic components, increased downforce, and updated aero kit, which should draw inspiration from the previous 911 GT3 RS 4.0 generation, a wider track, a wider stance, similar carbon fiber canards, thinner glass, featherweight body panels and some other tweaks, which will make it better looking and better to drive than the outgoing 911 GT3.
The upcoming Porsche 911 GT3 RS will also receive a slight power increase from the standard car, by pushing the total output figure up to the 500 HP mark. The model will be getting a PDK transmission, with different gear ratios, and it’s believed to be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds. Just like we said above, the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS is expected to be officially unveiled by the end of this year. More details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced once it will go official.
