The online configurator for the recently unveiled Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been recently launched by the German based automaker.
If you are a Porsche fan with the brand new 911 GT3 RS in mind, wanting to add it to your garage, you will be glad to find out that the carmaker has launched the online configurator for the newest sports car coming from Porsche. The model in question has been officially presented to the public during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and it is 10 kg lighter compared to the regular 911 GT3, coming with a CFRP engine lid, magnesium roof, aluminum body and other components. The total weight of the car stands at 1,420 kg.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS is getting some extra cooling elements on the engine lid, front wings with air ducts, a larger rear wing, a prominent splitter and so on. Its cabin is bringing the 3-spoke steering wheel which has been wrapped in Alcantara, the white rev counter, the carbon fiber inserts in the door panels or the dashboard, along with several other tweaks. The most important part of the sports car is found under its hood, where the 4.0 liter flat six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine is found. This is producing 500 HP (368 kW) and 460 Nm (340 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 3.3s and a top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph). Prices for the model will begin from 181,690 euros in Germany.
