The brand new 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is close to hitting the production line and its looks will no longer be a surprise for anyone considering the fact that the first patent photos have ended up on the web.
The development of the 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is no longer a surprise for anyone who is reading the automotive media but it seems that work on the sports car is quite advanced. The images posted below are actually patent images which have been discovered by Car Magazine and they are fully revealing the lines of the much awaited model.
The 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS will be getting a muscular hood, ventilated front fenders, a double bubble roof, a sporty rear wing, lightweight fenders and wheels, a rollcage in the cabin and several other tweaks. Rumors are saying that the model in question might be using the 3.8 liter six-cylinder engine, which is rated at 475 HP (349 kW). This can be connected to the PDK transmission, which is an exclusive one, specifically tuned for the use in this vehicle. More details on the model are limited for the moment and will probably be announced in Paris, where it might be unveiled this October.
