The 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been recently caught on camera and it’s getting ready to make its public debut over the following months.
The Porsche 911 GT3 is already one of the fastest and most impressive models on the market, despite its recall problems, and this is now getting ready to receive an even hotter version, as our spy photographers have found out. The model pictured below is the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and it has a wider track than the standard 991, a massive rear wing and a larger front splitter, but chances are that these features found on the prototype may not make their way onto the final production version.
The German based automaker will add a slight power increase on the new 911 GT3 RS, pushing its total figure towards the 500 HP mark and this will also feature different gear ratios. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint should be made in approximately 3.5 seconds, but the op speed will be slightly decreased, due to the increase downforce. The 911 GT3 could become available with a manual transmission option, for enthusiasts, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet. More details on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS will be announced in the months to come.
