The brand new Porsche 911 GT3 will make its UK debut at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, this weekend.
The German based automaker Porsche will introduce the brand new 911 GT3 during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, this weekend. The model in question can easily stand out from a crowd, thanks to the extended side skirts, LED headlights, big spoilers, fixed rear wing, new rear bumper, center mounted dual exhaust system or 20-inch forged alloy wheels, amongst others, but the most interesting part of the sports car is found under its hood, where the 3.8 liter Boxer engine is resting.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 is powered by a 3.8 liter unit, which is producing a total output of 475 HP (349 kW) and it has a peak torque of 438 Nm (324 lb-ft). The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 315 km/h. Besides the Porsche 911 GT3, a 911 RSR 2.8, a 911 GT1 and some other models will be presented at Goodwood.
