Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio costs $193,900 in the U.S. image

The official starting price of the impressive new 911 Turbo Cabrio has been set at 193,900 USD, in the United States, without the 950 USD destination charge.

The sixth generation of the impressive Porsche 911 Turbo is finally here and it’s now available to its future customers in the United States, who will have to pay at least 193,900 USD to get their hands on the Cabrio version. The model has a retractable roof with a lightweight magnesium frame, which can open and close at speeds up to 30 mph in approximately 13 seconds.

“Porsche is adding two new models to the 911 range: the 911 Turbo Cabriolet and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet. These new models combine the dynamic range of the new 911 Turbo models with the driving pleasure offered by an open-top sports car”, as the company is saying in its official press release.

The new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio is coming with a 3.8 liter flat six-cylinder twin turbocharged engine under its hood, which is producing a total output of 520 HP and 560 HP on the 911 Turbo S Cabrio. The 0 to 60 mph sprint takes just 3.3 seconds in the regular version and 3.1 seconds in the Turbo S. Top speed has been rated at 195 mph. The two models will be unveiled in November, during the L.A. Auto Show.
