While we’re waiting for the 911 GT2 RS to jump from the digital world into the real one we could fancy a commission of the new 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series.
The automaker unveiled it recently but only displayed the new Golden Yellow Metallic shade – adding a “range of other carefully selected exterior colors” would also be available. The Stuttgart-based brand is now offering a glimpse of what it meant – in the new image gallery the gold car is also surrounded by two other options in gray and white, all three of them wearing a pair of carbon strips on the front hood and roof. The Exclusive Series stands out in the crowd via additional carbon fiber elements making it stand apart from the “regular” Turbo S. This one is for collectors as well because just 500 examples will be produced – complete with special plaque inside the cabin.
Which is also where 18-way adjustable seats with stitching color-coordinated with the car’s livery will be found, along with lots of carbon fiber trim for good measure. The Exclusive Series is not just for show, because it also extracts an additional 27 horsepower (20 kilowatts) from the flat-six 3.8-liter biturbo engine for a total of 607 hp (446 kW) – while the torque is keeping still at 553 pound-feet (750 Newton-meters) when opting for the optional Sport Chrono Package. It will rock the driver’s world to 62 mph (100 kph) in 2.9 seconds and a mere 9.6 seconds for the 0-124 mph (0-200 kph) jump before topping out at 205 mph (330 kph).
