Porsche has recently introduced the new 918 Spyder, site equipped with the Weissach package, to the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show, in China.
The final production version of the Porsche 918 Spyder has been here for quite a few months now but its presence during an automotive event can’t go by unnoticed so it’s no wonder that the hybrid supercar has managed to attract quite a lot of attention during the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show, in China. The model in question has been equipped with the Weissach package and it has some additional carbon fiber fins on the rear wheel arches, a larger carbon fiber rear wing and sportier wheels.
The Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach has shed approximately 36 kg thanks to the use of lightweight materials and it has received the wheel bearings with ceramic balls, the weight optimized brake system with titanium components, CFRP anti-roll bar and much more. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 2.6 seconds now, 0.2s faster than the standard car, while from 0 to 200 km/h the car needs just 7.2 seconds. From 0 to 300 km/h, the Porsche 918 Spyder needs just 19.9 seconds. Let’s not forget that this is the fastest production car ever on the Nurburgring.
