An exclusive unit of one of the most impressive hybrid supercars out there, the red finished Porsche 918 Spyder, has been recently spotted while cruising around Monaco.
Just when you thought you have seen it all, with Jay Kay’s green Ferrari LaFerrari, this red finished Porsche 918 Spyder pops onto the web. The model in question has been spotted cruising the streets of Monaco and its bright red paint job is quite eye catching, along with its matte silver livery and the prominent number 3. The supercar pictured below has been equipped with the Weissach Package and it’s faster than the standard model.
The Porsche 918 Spyder has been officially presented to the public last autumn, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. This is a hybrid supercar which is rivaling the Ferrari LaFerrari and the McLaren P1 with its rear mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout. Power is being provided by the 4.6 liter V8 engine, backed up by two electric motors. The total output produced stands at 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 2.6 seconds and top speed stands at 345 km/h (214 mph).
