A black finished Porsche 918 Spyder has been the subject to an impressive photo shoot taken at night.
Who said that photographing a black finished car at night makes no sense should reconsider that position after checking out the small photo gallery posted below, right after the jump. The images in question are showing a black finished Porsche 918 Spyder smiling for the camera. These photos have been taken by tablet or phone.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is one of the three hottest supercars of its time, along with the McLaren P1 and the Ferrari LaFerrari. The vehicle has been officially presented to the public at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and it has been put together in 918 units, with all of them being already sold out. The hypercar has a two-door roadster body style, along with a mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout.
Under its hood we can find the 4.6 liter V8 engine with 608 HP (453 kW) and 528 Nm (389 lb-ft) of torque, which is backed up by not one but two electric motors, delivering an extra 279 HP (208 kW). The total output produced stands at 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque, sent to the wheels through a 7-speed double clutch transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 2.6s and top peed stands at 340 km/h (210 mph).
