A weird gold chrome finish has been added to an impressive supercar, the Porsche 918 Spyder, a good recipe for attracting a lot of attention.
This is not the first time when we get to see a chrome gold finished supercar but when we are talking about one of the best vehicles money can buy these days, which also happens to be a hybrid, like this Porsche 918 Spyder, adding such a finish to it doesn’t seem like the right thing to do. The images posted below have been taken in Saudi Arabia, of course, and the supercar has been spotted parked outside a hotel. Chances are you will probably see it somewhere in London in the near future, because we all know this is how this works.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is the most powerful production vehicle made by the company so far. This will be put together in just 918 units and it has been officially presented to the public back in 2013, during the Frankfurt Motor Show, in its current form. The model is offered in a two-door roadster body style and it has a rear mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout. Power is sent to the wheels, through a 7-speed PDK dual clutch transmission, by the 4.6 liter V8 engine and two electric motors, which are capable of putting down no less than 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. The supercar can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.6 seconds and it has a top speed of 340 km/h (210 mph).
