The 918 units of the Porsche 918 Spyder have been almost sold out so this is probably your last chance of getting your hands on one of the hottest supercars ever created.
If you have missed out on the Ferrari LaFerrari because of the high demands or on the fewer units of the McLaren P1, don’t be sad because you can score with the Porsche 918 Spyder. According to a company’s representative, the vice president of marketing for Porsche Cars North America, Andre Oosthuizen, the Porsche 918 Spyder has been almost sold out. The remaining units are believed to find new owners in the following months.
The Porsche 918 Spyder has an 847,975 USD price over-seas, including shipping, and it has been officially presented to the public last year, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September. The model is the company’s fastest and most powerful production vehicle as it is packing a 4.6 liter V8 engine under its hood, which is backed up by two electric motors. The total output produced stands at an impressive 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes less than 3 seconds and top speed stands at 345 km/h (214 mph).
