The upcoming Porsche 918 Spyder isn’t sold out just yet and the company will have to pull every ace up its sleeve in order to make sure that each model is a sellout.
According to the guys at Automotive News, the Porsche 918 Spyder isn’t sold out just yet and it seems that the German based automaker is currently inviting potential customers to private viewings in cities like Las Vegas, New York or Dallas, because the United States is being considered the supercar’s largest market. At least 190 units of the whole 918 models will be sold over-seas.
The Porsche 918 Spyder, in its final production version, will be powered by a 4.6 liter V8 engine, helped by two electric motors. The impressive hypercar will produce as much as 875 HP (652 kW) and it’s believed that it can lap the Nordschleife in less than 7 minutes. The model in question will get the four-wheel steering from the 911 GT3 and it will be able to reach 150 km/h (93 mph) in all electric mode. The final production version of the Porsche 918 Spyder will be officially presented to the public in September, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
