Porsche has taken the wraps off the 918 Spyder during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a supercar with a whopping price of 645,000 euros, without VAT.
According to the German based automaker, the Porsche 918 Spyder will be available only in left-hand drive and despite its appealing design which is breaking the classic pattern of the company, the supercar has an impressive price which has been set at 645,000 without VAT on the Old Continent. Porsche says that the hybrid supercar is coming with a high-revving 4.6 liter V8 engine, assisted by two electric motors, one of them on the front axle and the other on the rear axle, which are providing a combined output of 759 horsepower.
The Porsche 918 Spyder, with its variable all-wheel drive, is returning an impressive 94 mpg UK and it’s emitting just 70 g/km of CO2. The 0 to 62 mph acceleration in the new German supercar is over in only 3.2 seconds and the model can go up to a top speed of 199 mph. The Porsche 918 Spyder can run on electric power alone too but only at a maximum speed of 94 mph. The 918 Spyder has been scheduled to go on sale in November, next year.
