Porsche 993 GT2 Turbo gets tuned by mcchip-dkr

The German aftermarket specialists at mcchip-dkr have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgraded Porsche 993 GT3 Turbo.

According to the tuning company, the Porsche 993 GT2 Turbo is coming with a fire extinguisher in the cabin, with a shift-throw reduction to the shifter, with a STACK display with video system and data recording, with Recaro bucket seats, with a safety cage, with a KW racing suspension Competition Variant 3 and with a fresh set of RS wheels, 10×18 and 13×18 front to rear, which are contributing to the overall looks of the sports car.

The limited slip differential has been signed by DREXLER and the sport catalysts and exhaust system were provided by CARGRAPHIC. The Porsche 993 GT2 Turbo has also received rebuilt turbochargers made by PUTZ Motorsport and a new engine block for the 3.6 liter engine. The unit is now producing a total output of 604 HP (450 kW) and it has a peak torque of 847 Nm (625 lb-ft). No performance details have been announced yet but mcchip-dkr says that 200,000 euros have been invested in the sports car and the project required 800 hours of work.
