Porsche has recently announced the official starting price of the brand new 911 50th Anniversary Edition.
After it was officially unveiled just a few days ago, the brand new Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker officially announcing its starting price. The Porsche 911 50th Anniversary will only be produced in 1963 units, for obvious reasons, and its public debut will be made during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September. Prices for the model will begin at 124,100 USD, without the 950 USD destination charge, over-seas.
“Porsche will present the limited edition model in time for the 50th anniversary of the 911 at the IAA motor show in Frankfurt, which opens its gates to the public on September 12, 2013”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
The new Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition will get a power kit and the Sport Chrono Package, which will increase its output to 430 HP (316 kW), which is basically 30 HP more compared to the European version. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint will take 4.2 seconds or even 3.8 seconds, when equipped with the PDK, and top speed will stand at 186 mph.
