After two years of producing the new generation of the Porsche Boxster, the German based automaker is currently working out on a facelifted version of the model.
Porsche is getting ready to introduce an updated version of the current Boxster which, despite being in production for only two years, it should keep customers “busy” until the new generation of the sports car will be hitting the market. The 2015 Porsche Boxster has been caught on camera by our spy photographers, while it was being tested out on public roads, and we can notice the minimalistic camouflage added to its body, which is suggesting some minor updates.
Changes will probably be kept at a design level so we expect a modified front fascia, with a new front bumper and probably some changes made to the headlights. The rear end of the car is expected to remain the same but Porsche might compensate this by making some adjustments in the cabin. As far as the engine lineup goes, this is expected to be carried over from the current model and it will include the 2.7 liter flat six-cylinder and the 3.4 liter flat 6-cylinder, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK transmission. The updated Porsche Boxster might be unveiled during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October.
