A new entry-level version of the Porsche Boxster has recently leaked all over the web through a dealer’s website and it already available for sale in Belgium.
Despite not being officially confirmed by the German based automaker, the new entry-level version of the Porsche Boxster is already available for order in Belgium, where it will be setting you back for 52,030 EUR (67,500 USD) for the cheapest version, equipped with a manual transmission, while the PDK variant has been priced from 55,115 euros (71,500 USD).
What is mostly surprising about the model in question is that it is not taking its power from a four-cylinder engine, like it was rumored, but from a flat-six 2.7 liter unit, which has been detuned and it is now producing a total output of just 210 HP (155 kW). According to our source, the sports car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.4 seconds when equipped with the manual transmission and in 6.1 seconds with the PDK automatic. With the manual gearbox, it can reach a top speed of 245 km/h (152 mph) and with the PDK, 243 km/h (151 mph). Some reports might be indicating that this can be a version made specifically for this country for reduced import taxation.
