The guys at Newport Convertible Engineering have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, a convertible version of the first generation Porsche Cayenne, which should be enough to attract the model’s fans towards the model and possibly creating more such vehicles.
Newport Convertible Engineering have already unveiled the Range Rover Convertible, which is apparently a success, as the company recently said, after it has received no less than 47 orders from owners of the vehicle who want to turn their luxury SUVs into drop tops. But this news isn’t about the Range Rover but on one of its main rivals, the Porsche Cayenne, in its first generation.
The popular luxury SUV has been recently transformed into a convertible by Newport Convertible Engineering and the model in question is getting the 80s-inspired wood grain-like details on the doors and on the hood. No details on how this model was created have been released just yet but it seems that the company is capable of chopping the roofs off other vehicles too, like the Aston Martin Rapide S, the Rolls-Royce Phantom, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes-Benz G55, Toyota Land Cruiser, Chevrolet Camaro, Hummer H2, GMC Yukon and many more.
