Porsche Cayenne Coupe rendered image

A couple of renderings with the so-called Porsche Cayenne Coupe have recently hit the web and they might provide us with a first look into a future possible production model.

As BMW already has the X6 on the market, for several years now, and with Mercedes-Benz getting ready to pull the wraps off the so-called MLC, which will be inspired by the recently unveiled Concept Coupe, which has seen daylight at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, just a few days ago, time has come for Porsche to create a sportier version of the Cayenne, with a sloping roofline, to battle with these two models.

But before Porsche will start the development of such a vehicle, Theophilus Chin has already created it, in a virtual environment, and we must admit that it doesn’t look that bad at all, at least from its profile. As you may recall, the second generation of the Porsche Cayenne has been in production since 2010 and this is coming with four petrol engines, in six outputs, and with two diesels, mated to a 6-speed ZF manual or an 8-speed Tiptronic S. Porsche is already planning a third generation of the model, and this is what might get the sloping roofline treatment, in a different version.
