Porsche Cayenne Diesel SUV is coming in US – official debut at New York auto show
Porsche, the luxury automaker plans to launch the new Cayenne Diesel SUV in US at the upcoming 2012 New York auto show.
The tech specs are expected to remain unchanged, which means that we’ll get a VW-sourced 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 240 hp 406 lb-ft of torque. According to Porsche the new SUV is expected to deliver 20-mpg under city roads.
As gas prices consistently rise and consumers look more to efficiency as a critical factor, companies at all levels are realizing the importance of hybrid and diesel options, even in the U.S.
