Porsche is getting ready to offer an updated version of the Cayenne which is currently being tested out by the company in its home country.
The second generation of the Porsche Cayenne has been introduced back in 2010 and now, four years later, the company is getting ready to introduce an updated version of the model, in the shape of a facelift. The premium SUV has been recently caught on camera by our spy photographers as it was being tested out, wearing camouflage only on the taillights which seemed to be inspired by its smaller and newer brother, the Macan.
The front fascia of the 2015 Porsche Cayenne facelift has received a new bumper, altered headlights, new daytime running lights and an updated grille. These should be the only changes applied to the exterior design, along with probably some new wheel choices, while the interior should get some tweaks of its own. Expect some modifications under the hood too, where the updated Cayenne S will probably get a 3.0 liter V6 twin turbo engine, with 420 HP. An E-Hybrid variant is also expected, with a 3.0L V6 and an electric motor, producing 416 HP. The 2015 Porsche Cayenne is expected to be unveiled over the following weeks.
