Porsche Cayenne GTS going to Beijing Motor Show image

The German based automaker Porsche has recently announced that the Cayenne GTS will be officially presented to the public on the 24th of April during the 2012 Beijing Motor Show.

After being revealed not too long ago, the all-new Porsche Cayenne GTS is once again placed into the spotlights, this time with the company announcing its official debut at this year’s Beijing Motor Show. According to the car manufacturer, the Porsche Cayenne GTS is coming with the PASM or Porsche Active Suspension Management, which is lowering the body by 24 mm compared to the Cayenne, which means that the luxurious crossover is now even closer to the road.

“Porsche will celebrate the world premiere of its SUV Cayenne GTS and present the new generation of the Boxster for the first time in Asia during Auto China in Beijing. The 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition will open its doors to the public on 27 April 2012 and will run until 2 May 2012”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.

The Porsche Cayenne GTS is powered by an upgraded 4.8 liter V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 420 horsepower, 20 HP more than the old model, mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission which is sending power to the standard all-wheel drive. The Cayenne GTS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 261 km/h. Fuel economy stands at 10.7 liters every 100 km and the model has a starting price of $83,025 in the US or EUR90,774 in Germany.
