Porsche has introduced several Platinum Editions of the V6 Cayenne in the United Kingdom, which will only be available for a limited period.
The new Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition will easily stand out from a crowd thanks to the Platinum Silver metallic paintjob, which is exclusive for the model, to the side window stripes, the rear spoiler and the front air intakes. Changes also include the 19-inch alloy wheels. The Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition is also getting a two-tone interior finish, the power steering plus, the park assist, the automatic anti dazzle mirrors, the Platinum Edition plaque for the entry guards on the doors and the Porsche Communication Management system.
The Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition is available for order with a 3.6 liter engine, producing a total output of 296 HP, which is able to return 28.5 mpg (UK). There is also a diesel option, in the shape of a 3.0 liter V6 turbo diesel, which is producing a total output of 242 HP. Porsche says that the petrol burner variant will cost 49,017 GBP while for the diesel version, its future customers will have to pay 49,584 GBP. This means that the model is 2,194 GBP more expensive than the regular Cayenne Diesel. Deliveries will begin in January.
