Porsche Cayenne Turbo updated by Techart with body and power kits image

The specialist tuner has decided to introduce its latest iteration of the Magnum aftermarket program specifically tailored for the refreshed Porsche Cayenne large sport utility vehicle.

Techart is a tuner with a long standing tradition in updating the Cayenne and the latest package iteration has decided to engage the high-performance SUV in the power and looks departments. Thus we have been bestowed with a wide body kit that was tailored and specifically developed for the Cayenne – more importantly is that heft will not be added as numerous components can he had in carbon fiber. So, we’re looking at the completely new disguise for the Cayenne, with all new front and rear bumpers, radiator grille and rounding up with the rear diffuser and roof-mounted spoiler. The carbon fiber bonnet has its own two air outlets, either painted in matte / high-gloss carbon fiber or the same color as the body. Wide body also means aggressive side skirts and beefed up wheel arches, while the back is morphed using a massive quad exhaust. Techart has also fitted the rather large 22-inch Formula IV wheels adorned with red accents to match the brake calipers.

While visual enhancements are always a matter of subjective opinion, upgrading power will never deliver unsatisfying results. Thus, Techart has taken the twin-turbo 8-cylinder, 4.8-liter engine from the Turbo version and updated it to churn out 700 PS (515 kW) and 920 Nm (679 lb-ft). The jump is spectacular – from 520 PS & 750 Nm thus making the hulking SUV reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds on its way to an 183 mph (295 km/h) top speed. The regular Cayenne Turbo will need 4.5 seconds to make the sprint and then max out at 173 mph (279 km/h).
