Porsche Cayman GT4 RS gets rendered image

The first rendering with the rumored Porsche Cayman GT4 RS has recently hit the web and this might provide us with a look into the upcoming sports car.

Ever since Porsche has officially pulled the wraps off the brand new Cayman GT4, a few weeks back, and after the company’s fans have called it a 911 GT3 RS killer, all eyes have turned towards a possible RS version of the model, but the carmaker is continuing to deny it. The image posted above is nothing more than a simple rendering which might offer us a first look into the upcoming Porsche Cayman GT4 RS.

This has received features such as the new carbon fiber side scoops, the vented front and rear fenders, the more aerodynamic side skirts, the double bubble roof, the stripped out interior design with a roll cage and several other tweaks which should put some distance between it and the current Cayman GT4 variant.

The Cayman GT4 is getting an aggressive body kit, a dual exhaust system, a 30 mm reduced ride height, high performance braking and a 3.8 liter six-cylinder engine under its hood, which is producing a total of 385 HP (283 kW) at 7,400 rpm and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque, available between 4,750 rpm an 6,000 rpm. This is connected to a six-speed manual transmission allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4s and to reach a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph). Prices for it start from 85,779 euros.
