The newest member of the Porsche family, the Cayman GT4, has recently received a new series of images, which are showing the sports car in a bright yellow shade.
The Porsche Cayman GT4 is the newest addition of the company’s lineup. The model in question has been officially unveiled just a few days ago and it is believed to be the burrier of the 911 and also a cheaper alternative to the 911 GT3, which costs 137,303 euros, compared to the 85,779 euros, VAT included, in its home market.
The sports car has been equipped with an aggressive body kit, which is helping it stand out from the regular versions. The model is bringing a front splitter, mesh grille inserts, a large rear splitter, a fixed rear wing, sportier side scoops and so on. This is also getting features such as the 30 mm reduced ride height, the high performance braking system or the dual exhaust system.
Under its hood, the Porsche Cayman GT4 is packing a 3.8 liter six-cylinder engine, which is developing a total of 385 HP (283 kW) at 7,400 rpm and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque, available between 4,750 rpm and 6,000 rpm. The engine is sending power to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, which is allowing the model to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds, from a standstill, and to go up to a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph). Porsche says that the Cayman GT4 has lapped the Ring in 7 minutes and 40 seconds.
