A mere seven examples of the Studio F. A. Porsche designed Dynamiq GTT 115 Hybrid will ever grace the open seas – so upcoming owners of the new 911 GT2 RS better hurry if they want to snatch the marine counterpart as well.
Porsche is not only building cars – you can even listen to music through branded Porsche speakers at home or in the go, but you’re only going to be called a diehard fan if you get to sail on their 35-meter (115-foot) yacht. “Taking the spirit of high-performance sportscar styling to the high seas, the Dynamiq GTT 115 is designed to appeal to car lovers and forward-thinking yacht owners who appreciate the advantages of speed, style and our philosophy of intelligent performance,” comments Roland Heiler, CEO of Studio F. A. Porsche – the group’s design division.
The super yacht’s superb aluminum hull is being powered by a couple of V12 engines from Man that seriously exceed the 911’s credentials – 1,627 horsepower (1,213 kilowatts), with a total fuel capacity of 6,340 gallons (24,000 liters). Performance wise, the 911 GT2 RS will offshoot it to the moon, because the yacht will do 21 knots (24 miles per hour or 39 kilometers per hour) for a range of 3,400 nautical miles (6,297 km). There are also on-board generators linked to the electric motors, allowing for a green speed of 6 knots (7 mph or 11 kph). Pricing – if you need to ask – starts at 12.5 million euros, though the Monaco example also has a range of options, like Rhodium Grey Metallic paint, for a total of 13.95 million euros.
