Porsche Macan gets priced in Australia image

Porsche has recently announced the official starting price of the Macan in Australia, which has been set from 84,900 AUD.

The most affordable Porsche model to date, the Macan, will soon become available for order in Australia. The crossover has a base starting price of 84,900 AUD, but if the top of the line Macan Turbo is what you have your eyes onto, than get ready to pay 122,900 AUD before taking it home. Three versions of the Macan will be introduce to Australia, the Macan S Diesel, the Macan S and the Macan Turbo, with the cheapest one getting a 3.0 liter V6 turbo diesel engine under its hood, signed by Audi.

The unit is rated at 190 kW and 580 Nm of torque and it can allow the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, while burning an average of 6.1 to 6.3 L / 100 km of fuel. The Macan S costs 87,200 AUD and it’s getting 250 kW and 460 Nm of torque from its twin-turbo V6 petrol. The top of the line Macan Turbo has a 3.6 liter V6 twin turbo engine under its hood, with 294 kW and 550 Nm of torque. This is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 4.8 seconds. Average fuel consumption stands at 8.9 – 9.2L / 100km.
