The brand new Porsche Macan has been teased once again ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Porsche Macan has been spied both inside and outside numerous times these past few months and the model has even leaked, but it’s now being placed into the spotlights with a teaser image which is showing the model under a cover, which should make it more interesting. The Porsche Macan is based on the Audi Q5 and it should basically be a smaller and cheaper version of the Cayenne, which will go on sale in Europe, in North America and probably in some parts of Asia.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the new Porsche Macan will receive units like the 3.0 liter from the Panamera S, with its 420 HP, or a 3.6 liter Bi-Turbo, from the top of the line Macan Turbo. This version is believed to get just under 500 HP. Both engines will be mated to standard 7-speed PDK transmissions, once they will go on sale. More details on the Porsche Macan will be announced over the next weeks, during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, where the model will be officially unveiled.
