Porsche has released some new official images with the brand new Macan, which are actually showing the SUV undisguised, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Porsche Macan is the company’s newest model and it has an evolutionary design, borrowing some styling cues from its larger brother, the Cayenne. The model in question has been in development for approximately one year and it has been caught on camera by spy photographers, and regular people, numerous times, with no camouflage on its body. The images posted below are revealing the sloping roofline, the aggressive front fascia, the tailgate mounted spoiler or the curvaceous bodywork.
The German based automaker Porsche didn’t announce the engine lineup for the new Macan but rumors are saying that the smaller SUV will receive a twin turbo 3.0 liter V6, along with a 395 HP (294 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque 3.6 liter twin turbo V6. An entry-level 3.0L V6 diesel, with 254 HP (189 kW) is also expected. The Porsche Macan will be officially unveiled next month, during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, and it will go into production in December.
