The Porsche Macan has been recently rendered and the images posted below are showing us what the final production version of the “baby Cayenne” might look like.
The newest model to enter the Porsche lineup in the nearby future, the so-called Macan, has started its public life not too long ago after it was being caught on camera while being tested on the road and not only. But now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time by the guys at Auto Bild, who have released the renderings posted below, which might reveal what the model will probably look like in its final production version.
Rumor has it that the Porsche Macan will get an engine lineup made out of both petrol and diesel engines, including the turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder unit with 220 HP, the 3.6 liter V6 naturally aspirated with 296 HP or the 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6 with 370 HP which will be known as the Macan Turbo. Diesel options will include a 2.0 liter TDI engine producing 190 HP and a larger 3.0 liter V6 TDI with 250 HP. A hybrid powertrain is also expected to make its way into the Porsche Macan, most likely sourced from the Audi Q5 Hybrid. The Porsche Macan should be officially presented to the public at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and hit the market next year, as a 2014 model year.
