A first rendering with the brand new Porsche Macan, which is showing the SUV in a three-door body style, has recently hit the web.
The German based automaker Porsche may have pulled the wraps off the brand new Macan just a few days ago, during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, but that didn’t stop rendering artists from creating a virtual three-door body style of the model. The vehicle pictured above has been signed by X-Tomi Design (FB) and it might become a competitor for the Range Rover Evoque, in a similar body style, but before it might be seen testing, chances are that the British model will receive a facelift or even a new generation.
The Porsche Macan is 4,699 mm long, 1,923 mm wide and 1,624 mm tall, which is making it 146 mm shorter, 16 mm narrower and 82 mm lower than its bigger brother, the Cayenne. The Macan is based on the Audi Q5 and it’s offered with a 3.0L twin turbo engine on the Macan S, producing 340 HP. The Macan S Diesel will get a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 unit, generating 258 HP (190 kW) while the top of the line Macan Turbo is coming with a 3.6 liter V6 twin turbo under its hood, which is good for 400 HP (294 kW). Prices for the base Macan have been set at 57,930 EUR.
