To honor a recent media motorsport program that took place in Singapore, Porsche commissioned internally a bespoke Macan Turbo SUV fitted with the Performance Package and a one of a kind Porsche-Motorsport-themed livery.
The mix of black, red, silver, and white is seemingly inspired by the track representatives 919 Hybrid and 911 RSR – though we could also think of other appropriate liveries, such as the iconic Gulf design or even Jägermeister’s burnt orange. The Macan Turbo up fitted with the Performance Pack is today’s top version of the compact crossover. The biturbo 3.6-liter V6 motivates the SUV with 440 horsepower (324 kilowatts) and 442 pound-feet (600 Newton-meters), meaning it has 40 hp (29 kW) and 36 lb-ft (49 Nm) more than the stock Turbo. With the extra oomph, the sprint to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) is handled in 4.2 seconds – 0.2 seconds faster than standard.
It will also have an increased maximum speed of 169 mph (272 kph), up by 5 mph (8 kph) from the standard. Of course, it’s not all about getting more ponies under the hood – the Performance Pack also comes with 15.3-inch (390mm discs) front brakes, which are 1.1 inches (30 mm) larger, along with red-painted brake six-piston calipers. The air suspension has been lowered by 0.4 inches (10 mm) and owners get standard Sport Chrono Package and a new exhaust system.
