New details on the most powerful version of the upcoming Porsche Macan, the so-called Macan Turbo, have just hit the web, weeks from its official debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Porsche Macan has been spied naked both inside and outside for numerous times over the past few months so the development of the model isn’t a surprise anymore but now, just a few weeks until its public debut, scheduled for the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, the SUV is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of Motor Authority, who has released some details about its most powerful version, the Macan Turbo.
The new Porsche Macan Turbo is believed to get a 3.6 liter twin turbo V6 engine under its hood, which is producing 395 HP (294 kW) and 550 Nm of torque (406 lb-ft). The unit will be mated to a PDK transmission, which will send power to the all-wheel drive system. The Porsche Macan is based on the same platform as the Audi Q5 and its styling is inspired from the larger brother, the Cayenne. The Porsche Macan Turbo is believed to go on sale from 75,000 USD.
