The German based automaker Porsche is planning is planning a turbo version of the upcoming Macan which is rumored to get 370 horsepower.
After the Porsche Macan was highlighted not too long ago and we have showed you the first image of the new crossover, which will be placed below the Cayenne, the model is once again placed into the spotlights, this time with a rumor which is announcing that the Macan Turbo will hit the market with 370 horsepower. According to the guys over at autocar.co.uk, The Porsche Macan Turbo will be powered by a 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6 petrol engine, which will generate a total output of 370 horsepower and 542 Nm of torque (400 lb-ft).
The Porsche Macan is based on the Volkswagen Tiguan and the entry-level version is expected to come with a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which should develop 220 horsepower, enabling the crossover to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph). A naturally aspirated V6 engine is also expected to make its way into the lineup with its 295 HP, while diesel lovers will be able to order the 190 HP 2.0 liter TDI unit or the larger 250 HP 3.0 liter V6 engine.
