Porsche has recently introduced the Macan to Australia where the cheapest version of the new midsize SUV will set you back for 84,900 AUD.
After it was officially unveiled during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, the new Porsche Macan is entering our news once again, this time with the carmaker introducing it to the Australian auto market, where its cheapest version, the Macan SD (diesel) will set you back for 84,900 AUD. This will be followed by the mid-range Macan V6 S, costing 87,200 AUD, and by the top of the line Macan Turbo, which has been priced from 122,900 AUD.
The Porsche Macan S Diesel is taking its power from a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 engine, which is producing a total output of 190 kW and 580 Nm of torque. The Macan S is getting a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 petrol burner under its hood, which is good for 250 kW and 460 Nm of torque, while the top of the line Macan Turbo is getting a larger 3.6 liter V6 twin turbo unit, generating 294 HP and 550 Nm of torque. All three engines are getting the 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, with paddle shifters, sending power to the AWD.
