The technical specifications list of the brand new Porsche Macan have recently leaked, ahead of the model’s official debut scheduled for the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The German based automaker Porsche may have tried to keep the new Macan into the shadows for the moment, until its official unveil at least, but things don’t always work out in this industry and the model in question has been already spied numerous times while being tested all over the world and now we also get to see its technical specifications, ahead of its public debut scheduled for later on this month.
The Porsche Macan will become available in three version, the Macan S, the Macan S Diesel and the Macan Turbo, with the first one getting a 3.0 liter V6 under its hood, with its 340 HP (250 kW) and 460 Nm 339 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) should take 5.5 seconds in it, and top speed will stand at 254 km/h (158 mph). The Macan S Diesel will pack a 3.0L V6 with 258 HP (190 kW) and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 226 km/h (140 mph).
Last but not least is the top of the line Porsche Macan Turbo, which will pack a 3.6 liter twin turbo V6 engine under its hood. The unit in question will produce a total output of 400HP (294 kW) and 500 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 4.8 seconds in this versions and top speed is 269 km/h (167 mp). The Macan will weigh 1,898 kg (4,184 lbs) in the S Diesel, which is the lightest version, and it will be 4,675 mm long, 1,923 mm wide and 1,628 mm tall, riding on a 2,807 mm wheelbase.
